saving game progress

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Are you getting any error messages ?

Yes, I do have mods and cc in my game. I tested it without mods and cc, and the problem persists.

I'M playing on PC, but I didn't know there was a specific thread for that.

I have not received an error message; it just doesn't save my progress when I'm online. However, it does save my progress when I play offline. 

Hi again, I have an update to my report. After playing my save file in offline mode, I noticed that it would not save my progress on one of my save files, but the other save files I play with are fine. I tried saving the save file as a new one, but it still did not work. I also tried playing another household, but it looped back to the household I played in the previous game. It will save my builds and the objects I have placed down in the house, but it will not save the household progress for only one of my save files. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Thank I checked and I can load up the game and play. However, when it comes to saving my progress on one of my save files, the game acts like it is saving the game, but in reality, it only saves a portion of the game and not the entire game progress, if that makes sense.

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

• Delete the ones you have
• Try to save your game
• Check if new ones are created
• If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

I appreciate your help! Yes, all of my other save files will save while playing online and offline. Currently, I have the better exceptions mod from twistied Mexi in my mods folder. I've attached the latest report in this message. I was able to save the game last night while playing offline. But I haven't tried to see if it will save when I play online. I hope that this helps.

It sounds like something is keeping the game from fully saving.

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

If so, upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

I'm in the process of updating my mods folder. I will share the link with you as soon as I am finished.  I appreciate your help. 

Hey, sorry for the late response. After updating my mods folder, the issue has been resolved. Thank you so much for your help.
