Get Famous free trial not working

As per attached image, game indicates that Get Famous is installed, but the world, build/buy and CAS items don't show up. Newly created sim has no fame meter

I have no option on my home page for starting the free trial.

I have restarted the game several times.

Game purchase via Steam - but I followed the link on the EA.com website to access the trial and logged into Origin

Please help?!

    @hayleylivenz Did you start the game via Steam ? I'm actually not sure if this works if you have the base game on Steam only. usually to have packs on Origin you need the base game on Origin. Do you have it on Origin as well ?

    Since it does show as owned, maybe they do have a special way to make it work though.

    Will try to find some info on this.
