Growing together - where do I find the promised early purchase rewards?

I purchased and installed The Sims 4: Growing Together today. When the trailer for the game was released, it was announced that if you bought the game before April 27th, you would get 3 extra in-game items (see screenshot of trailer). I read the conditions and restrictions, and it says the extra content is supposed to download automatically, as long as you register your purchase in the EA app before the deadline. I have done that, but I can't find the items listed in my game.

Is there some sort of delay for the extra items or how do I access the content I was promised?
