Haven't been able to use script mods since Seasons!

Do the issues occur if you try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Delete the cache files

Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues
Doing this , tests to see if mods/cc are the cause of the issues.

@rosemow thank you. I deleted the cache files and it didn't help but after moving the mods folder, it fixed the issue. It removed my cc from the game though (I know the cc isn't the problem because I have tried deleting it all and the issue is still the same)

Just tried it again actually and asked me to pick a season again. Ugh >.<

It sounds like a mod is causing the issue, Try putting your mods back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one mod in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.

The pose player is the only mod I'm trying to install. Other than that, I have no other mods in my folder so I think the problem may be deeper than that. At this point, it's looking like I won't be able to play mods ever again haha. Not sure what could be the issue. I haven't done anything differently. All I know is that it's been doing it since Seasons.

First, it would come up on game start up saying, "could not load game. Error code:3"
And then started just asking me to pick a season and coming up with a blank screen.
Maybe has something to do with old saves? The actual game itself? Even though I've repaired the game.

Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder, starting a new save game file, and testing to see if it occurs there . To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if the issue is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.

yep, just tried both those things. I disabled the origin-in game first. Didn't fix anything.
So now I...

- moved my entire sims 4 folder out of the electronic arts folder, backed it up and renamed it properly
- restarted my computer
- restarted sims
- enabled script mods and put the mod into the NEW folder (so no previous saves, nothing)
- working normal so far, at this point i'm trying to see if i can find the mod in the game so it got me to make a new household since there are no saves. I quickly did, went to move that person into a house. Went into SM to quickly move him into an apartment. It showed up all weird like this.... Saying $0 funds again on the screen even though I should have $20,000.. and when I clicked on an apartment to move him in, it took me to CAS to "create a sim to move in" even though I JUST did that.

This is just getting messier and messier -_-

Yep it's going all weird now. I just opened up sims again (hadn't closed it since that last post. was just minimised) and it was "pick a season" AGAIN. I'm getting so over this haha. My game is just broken. I have no idea how to fix it and I've tried everything now...

EDIT: It's very glitched at this point.
It won't show the names of the houses, so it's like some information is missing.
I need serious help haha.

I have never had any previous issues with sims.
But since seasons messing with any chance of even using ANY MOD, it's becoming very frustrating and it's driving me up the wall. Feel completely hopeless haha. I've tried everything everybody's told me and can't fix anything. If deleting my entire sims 4 folder and starting over doesn't fix it!, I don't know what will. If it's not a corrupt save or anything after all of that, then what could it be? >.<

You could try disabling the seasons pack. Then start a new game and play for a little while. Then re-enable seasons pack again and see if that helps. This link explains about disabling packs.

Hello! I've been having the same issue with the teleport and pose player sim scripts for a month and tried everything said above and nothing helped at all... Even putting theses two mods all by themselves will always send me to a glitched screens with no way to access any household and 0 funds! I tried putting a household from the gallery and it literally makes my game crash. The only thing I have yet to try is disabling Seasons because I don't know anymore what to do...
Nothing breaks when I only put the package files, it only happens with scripts. I just spent two days reinstalling my whole game but it didn't help either. I have no clue what may be causing this and I'm guessing the two mods work perfectly fine.

@yoikami yep!! I'm still having this issue and it's seriously torture by this point. I have done EVERYTHING. I moved my entire folder onto the desktop which is what I've read is the best way, and guess what, couldn't even be bothered putting the saves back one by one so I just let the folder regenerate, deleted the old one and started from SCRATCH. Deleted ALL cc and mods, literally had nothing in the folder at all. Works fine, and then the MOMENT I put a script mod in!! And start it up again, gets me to pick a season again, it's glitched and I have $0 funds.. won't let me play. I can only create a new family and then can't even play after that. It's driving me mental at this point. I can't find a solution anywhere and I have LITERALLY TRIED EVERYTHING!!!
