Please check whether all your mods are installed in the correct way.

    This means for example:

    • Is modding acitvated in game options? Script mods have a separate activation.
    • Are the mods located at the correct location?
    • Are script mods only one level deep?
    • Are the mods in question listed in the mod list (Game Options/Others)?
    • Do you own the packs which are required to run the mods?

Have a look at this AHQ post for further instructions about mods in the game: Link

All the mods are packages not script, is that part of the issue?

@Arielys No, most mods aren't script mods.

What is it about the CAS custom content that isn't working for you? Knowing that detail can help sort out the issue.

@luthienrisingI already have other mods on my game such as littlemssam, ui extension, ect. but anything else thats not a mod like those, for example, any cc for build mode or cas, doesn't let me launch the game at all and this error code appears: [de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b]

@Arielys This sounds like a CC installation issue. Try this, please:

    1. Drag the Mods folder to your desktop and delete the file called localthumbcache.
    2. Start the game so it creates a new Mods folder. Then exit the game.
    3. Now download a piece of CC that I know for sure works: Try any build/buy item from peacemaker or a recent outfit piece from greenllamas.
    4. Install the newly downloaded item into the Mods folder
    5. Start the game to test.

Let me know if this works, and we can keep the process moving from there.

@luthienrising I did just as you told me and the same error code pops up ☹️ At this point it might just be one of my settings but I have no idea where to start to look for the issue

@Arielys You're getting issues with nothing in the Mods folder but one piece of CAS? If you do this, do you get an error?

    1. Drag The Sims 4 out of Electronic Arts to your desktop
    2. Relaunch the game
    3. Start a new save

If that works, copy your saves from the old folder into the new one and test again.

If that works, add just one piece of CC to the new Mods folder and test.

@luthienrising I did get an error with a single piece of CAS. The error code was that it was either missing something or damaged.
