HELP Broken Mod — If I Remove It Will My Save Still Be Corrupted?

I started this particular game save for the express purpose of playing my favorite couple with MWS. Part way through we got another patch. This broke the main mod I need to have a singer Sim. I knew the mod was broken but continued to play because most things were still working in my game the way it always did with said mod. Long story short, once I sent my couple on their honeymoon, things really started acting wonky. It was no longer simply the live performance that didn't work properly. (I can send him away and all is well.) I removed the couple from that world and sent them to another world. Still problems erupted. I have decided the broken mod is the problem. I can still play this save, I hope, by using MCCC, which is fine, to supplement my singer Sim's income. His royalties should still be there since GF allows him to write songs. He has released four albums courtesy of the broken mod, and I know how much he gets daily for them. No worries. My biggest concern is, is it likely the save, itself, is corrupted? Should I remove said mod and restart this save?

In other words, my game has just been fixed by it, nothing was lost or so.... The worst is honestly to remove some CC hairstyles or clothes and suddenly all the NPCs that wore them are naked or bald. (:

Thank you for your response. I've been reading other posts about what's been going on in their games after the Error Code:0 I've had that problem, too. Now, I'm wondering if my save has been corrupted by not just a broken mod, but that saving error. Face/palm. I decided it best to just start them off again in a new save. It will be interesting to see if Erik can gain his Global Superstar status in his Teens, without the mod, but I installed the Showtime mod, the newest one I could find. It will at least allow him to do Meet & Greets, and hold Concerts. Won't be the same, but then again, neither will the previous save. OOFFDDAA.
