HELP BROKEN TEXTURES FROM IN GAME ITEMS?

Hi! Thanks for reading. I really need answers and appreciate the help! I don't know if this is due to sims 4's new move from Origin to EA but a ton of the in-game clothes and furniture options have a broken mesh thing going on. For some items, the photo in build mode won't show what the item is (grey llama in its place) but it will let me place it and other items in CAS I can see from the picture what it's supposed to be but it will make me have a red X and red blocks over it, sort of like how broken CC looks in some YouTube videos. I don't even use CC, tho. The only other thing I could think of that's causing this is that I tried to download some CC and took it over from my downloads to my documents into electronic arts into Sims 4 and dropped like 144 items into there. I hadn't played in a while, so when I opened it, it told me that origin was being moved to the EA app, and it deleted origin and downloaded the EA app, and then my CC wouldn't work even when going into settings and clicking enable and restarting, so I gave up and went into my settings to remove the CC from my documents, and maybe when I was highlighting them to delete them, I deleted some other things?? So I uninstalled the EA app and went to download it again, but it wouldn't let me download the EA app, so I just redownloaded Origin, and it got rid of all my saves (which is fine; I expected that), but it seems like the other files were downloaded off of iCloud, so I wonder if either it's downloaded the half baked files from before or it is a normal redownload, but the sims themselves have broken textures potentially due to the move, and some of the packs with affected content are older ones. TYSM FOR UR HELP!!!!
