Ive already tried all the techniques, such as clear catche, take out mods, update the game, restart the computer and im currently about to uninstall the game to reinstall it but it takes hours to do. I just want to play sims 4, my laptop packed in and fiancé told me we have a PC which has been able to run his games but if refusing to lunch mine.
Does anyone know what the issue maybe because I'm gonna end up throwing the PC😂
I have been having similar issues for a couple of months now. EA doesn't seem to want to help with it. I have bought most of the expansion and stuff packs, yet the game I have owned since it came out, says the game license is invalid. It won't launch. I cleared the game cache, the app cache, I updated the game too. I uninstalled the base game and all expansions, deleted all the mods and custom content, then reinstalled the base game, and it still says the game license is invalid. I even went as far to install EA on another computer and installed the base game on it. And wouldn't you know, it gave me the same error message about the game license...? This problem is clearly on the EA side of things. They need to fix it.
The thing is i was on my laptop with the same EA account only a few days ago and it worked perfectly other than it crashing the odd few times just because my laptop is like 6 year old and not built to handle all my mods etc. Even without them my computer dies within a few hours on just base game. This is a whole new issue to me

If none of those helps, please post a dxdiag here, in this thread.
If you're not seeing that error, please let me know what happens when you try to play. In that case, I'd still like to see a dxdiag, but please first test with your Mods folder removed if you use any mods or custom content at all.
Jadeness12 When you say your computer dies, do you mean that it turns off or something else? And if you're playing while the laptop is running on battery, that's probably the issue—it's not going to have enough charge to run even the base game for all that long. Plug it in before you start playing.
Hi I found the issue i still had one singular cc downloaded and it was causing the game not to even load. I added the rest back in and loaded up fine.
