Ended up repairing the game files and removing all mods and it seems to have worked!

@Natalia9655 What game version do you have? Please load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look in the lower-right corner or along the bottom of the screen. Please list the full version number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.
