Horses keep disappearing, lots of errors and kicking me off to the world screen.
Whenever I try to play with Horses, they disappear from the game. They show up in CAS just fine but when loading into the world, they disappear and it kicks me off to the world screen giving a Error:102.
I tried the 50/50 method of removing mods and cc. To no avail.
I removed ALL mods eventually, to no avail.
I tried doing a clean documents folder (by moving my sims documents to somewhere else and letting the game regenerate a new one) to no avail.
I tried repairing the game, and as usual, to no avail.
The last exception says something like ''[cjiang] Error occurred within the tag named 'require_reins_for_formation' (value: r)''
I have no idea what that means.
The Last Exception Assistant says: "Missing Expansion Resource Error.''
What does that mean? I have all packs installed. Just checked.
I've been at this trying to troubleshoot it for 5 hours and I'm getting tired.
Yes it happened in a new save with no mods and previous saves installed as well. I didn't catch the full 102 error but I narrowed the problem down to the horses themselves. If I play any household without horses everything worked fine, even with mods. As soon as I added a horse or loaded in with one then the problem arose again.
But I finally fixed the issue.
The Missing Resource Error gave me an inkling that Horse Ranch didn't install correctly. I uninstalled Horse Ranch and installed it again. And yup, everything works again. Even with my previous saves and mods (all updated) put back in.
