What is the issue here? Whenever I go to try and edit a sim in cas, I just get a screen with my sim and a blank background...what is the issue? I don't have UI mods installed at! Why is it so hard for them to just not mess up the game? This is how i relax after a stressful day, ad thanks to the dev team I now have to spend my evening tracking this down.....do better!

qblxo1f0pwft You need to test without ALL mods and CC, not just without mods you think are logically going to cause this. See vanilla and 50-50 testing. If it happens with an empty mods folder in a new save, please use search in Bug Reports.
I HAVE NO MODS, NO CC, REPAIRED THE GAME, REINSTALLED THE GAME, CREATED A FRESH SIMS 4 FOLDER. THIS IS THE DEV'S FAULT BECAUSE THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT! THEY ALL NEEDED TO BE LAID OFF WHEN THE SELL HAPPENS GO RIDDANCE! THE GAME WAS LITERALLY FINE SCREW THEM!
