House in Manage Households, but not in-game, then disappears

Hello! First post on this forum. I'm at a bit of a loss, as I've never had this happen before. I'm going to include a lot of extraneous material in case it's helpful, but I highly doubt it.

WITHOUT ALL THE EXTRA DETAIL BELOW (tl:dr): I built a house from scratch in a new save file and on start-up, it disappears along with all my sims' progress. I want to believe the data isn't gone, because my save file was still made at the time I saved last night, and my house still appears in "Manage Households" if I start my save from "Load Game". I will attach all images. Is it really gone for good?

With detail, I finished playing around 5 AM last night. Horrible decision, but that's behind me. My Sims were all mid-action when I hit "Exit Game" and "Save and Exit". I don't think it matters if my Sim was mid-sandwich when I saved, but I'm including it anyways. The game shut down as normal and I put my laptop to sleep for the night. I am playing on Mac off of Origin, if that changes anything. This morning, I hit "Resume" and my house was gone, along with the growing relationship all my sims had. Just as if I had just came out of CAS. My game is heavily modded, with a lot of CC too, but I've had these mods forever and nothing like this has happened. The oddity is that I can STILL see my house if I start my save from "Load Game" in the "Manage Households" screen. Does that mean anything?? Can I recover my save??

I have already tried repairing the game from Origin, and I've also renamed the save from 5 AM to its own save file, so that backup files aren't attached (i.e. "Slot_#.save.ver0 >> Slot_new#.save" in "Saves").
