Whenever I select play on any household, instead of taking me to their home SIMS4 just takes me back to the Residential Worlds Screen or just takes ages to load (I let it load for 5+ minutes before closing the sims and reopening it) . I've tried multiple different saved households as well as created a new one and I can't open any of them, just get sent to the worlds menu.
Are you a mod user? The August 2025 patch (1.117) broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117 as a second starting point, but note many were updated for patch 1.118 and/or are not yet cleared in the current list (for links, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE).
