Try scheduling a custom holiday and choose the option to have no decorations for the holiday. Then after the holiday has passed, see if the issue remains
If the issues remain, try cancelling the custom holidays for the current season and test to see if that helps the issue when going into a new season.
If you still have issues, try using the attic box to remove all decorations and see if that helps.
