How do I fix my mods folder in the easiest way possible

A couple of days ago I was playing the sims 4 on my windows computer. I then decided to close the game and search for some ccs to use in the game. everything went fine until after I downloaded my cc and wanted to move it to my mods folder. it told me that my folder didn't exist or that I probably moved it somewhere else. I realized that my entire "Electronic Arts" folder was inside of my onedrive, so I moved it to where it was supposed to be. I then went back and tried to move the cc to the mods folder and try to run the game as normal, but it wasn't inside the game at all. PLEASE HELP ME! I don't want to delete the entire game I just want to fix this issue and go back to playing the game as normal again. :(
