The Harry Potter traits were broken by the last patches. Another simmer has posted an updated version of the traits.

how do these work in the game. I have not been doing much CC in my game. Thought I would like to change it up a bit as I am tired of the Maxis traits.

Many custom traits were broken by the latest patches. If you are downloading custom traits now, it would be best to check to see if the version of the trait has been recently released, since after the patches.
