- i'll try that out and tell you what happens! @rosemow
- Hello.
If your computer can't handle a lot of cc /mods, try just to keep the cc /mods that you particularly like having in the game. Some of the cc that you had may have been broken and that was causing the crashing issue.
Sometimes cc becomes broken and doesn't work with the game.
When downloading cc, try adding just a few items to your mods folder at a time and see how your game is going. Then you will be able to find and remove cc that are causing issues quicker and easier. - @rosemow I just have one question, Why does it make a laptop slow?

Hello.
It depends on the computer details of the laptop that you use, whether it causes your game to lag. It depends on your processor, the amount of memory that your computer has and the type of graphics card.
Cc and mods put extra strain on the computer.
If you are having issues with lagging in your game, try lowering your graphics settings.
Also try switching back to 32 bit mode and see if that helps.
Right click on The Sims 4 tile in Origin.
Select “Game Properties”
Change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 32-bit”- @rosemow I have 4 GB of Ram and Intel Graphics card. What if your computer is a 64-Bit?

Hello,
With your computer having 4 gb of ram, it may be best to switch back to 32 bit mode and see if it helps with the running of your game. Many simmers who have 64 bit computers have found that they have needed to switch back to 32 bit mode for playing the game to help the running of the game. Also lowering the graphics settings can help.- That was so helpful!!! Bless your souls @Sasquatch_01 and @ohthedrama
- I noticed my game lagging on load screens to pull uo household since adding some CC to my game last night and didn't even put it together it was due to CC. Thanks.
I play on a Macbook as well, it has 8 GB Ram though i don't know on the graphics card. Bought it in 2015, about a week before the announcement of brand new macbooks lol because that's my luck.
Anyway, is there a particular limit of CC I should try to stay under? Or are there other tips to make it easier to load (like i have it all in folders, does it load better if I have them differently)? "vintagesaturday;14760252" wrote:

Hello @vintagesaturday .
Simmers have found that renaming cc files so that the names don't have special characters in the name such as dashes etc can help . Try renaming the files so as they only contain letters and numbers.- Thanks, I will!
