I accidentally deleted permanently my tray files from The Sims 4

Summarize your bug While i was adding some mods to The Sims 4, I put some tray files on the EA tray file and when I wanted to delete them i didnt which was the one that i installed so i deleted them. When I was deleting broken CC the tray file went with them too and i accidentally delete it permanently
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I think EA can send me back the original tray files so I can install it again
What happens when the bug occurs? All my data is deleted and the mods wont work
What do you expect to see? My tray files back

Its my fist time posting in here so-
While i was installing some mods I accidentally deleted the tray files from EA and now my mods wont work and i have lost all my sims data. I dont really know what should i do.. whould I start the game from zero?? Can someone help me here?

  • @arsenedaniel The tray data is only stored locally on your computer. No one else has access to those.

    Did you ever backup your user folder ? If not, you will need to start over with whatever you haven't saved to the gallery.

    Have you emptied your Recycle Bin since you deleted the Tray?  If you haven't, then open the Bin, find the file or folder, and restore it.  If you deleted a bunch of stuff at one time along with the Tray folder, you'll have to do that again.

    The game will create another Tray folder.  When it does, it gives you all the Maxis lots and sims that populate the tray when you start the game the 1st time or start a new user folder.  Then you can open your save and save all of your custom/modified lots and sims to your tray so you can get most of what you lost back if you can't recover the folder from your recycle bin.
