i deleted my mods folder a couple of months ago and…

every single time i tried searching for the folder again, it doesn't appear. In fact, there is no file for the Electronic Arts folder, and neither for the Sims 4, it's just a bunch of documents that my computer won't let me open. i've tried reinstalling the game at least 3 times and I still can't find a solution to find my mods folder. i've tried reparing the game as well but to now avail. what's even stranger is that my old cc still appears in the game but i don't know where it's coming from since the said folder doesn't exist. can anybody please help?!! (I play the game in mac)
