I have to remove every single mods folder before I can launch my game.

 play my sims with custom content and expansion packs but I don’t have mods like MC command installed… I’ve found that the only way I can get my game to load is if I remove every single one of mod folders (like furniture, female clothing CC, accessories, etc.) and add them back in folder by folder. This literally takes 1-2 hours to do and I have to do it every time I want to play … it’s driving me insane!

I play on a MacBook which I know is terrible but it’s all I have right now. Sims has loaded just fine for the past four years and I have less mods than I used to have.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with my game or is it just a lost cause? I’ve done the whole thing of splitting my mods folder in half in order to find a corrupt file but I don’t think that there’s a bad or outdated file, it just takes so long to load. I also have tried repairing my game and uninstalling it but nothing has changed.
