I have tried everything and nothing is working

I'm having the same problem I do not use mods or CC at all, I ran the repair three times and I uninstalled the Sims and reinstalled the Sims from scratch.  Still all I can get up is the EA app and when I open the Sims from the EA app VA goes to the side and then comes back in the Sims will not open. I am on an M1 Mac. And everything is up-to-date on my Mac.  This started after the last update.
