I want to use Sims 4 mods but,I don't have the files??

Hello! I'm a PC user,and I downloaded the Sims 4 using origin,but I want to use mods. I've looked at plenty of other responses to questions like mine but the only problem is,I don't think I have the Sims 4 file! I can easily play the game,of course,but when I look in my files I just don't see the Sims 4 in there
