Infant cold moodlet+ outfit issues

My two infants have “freezing” moodlet, while it it cold outside, they’re:

1) indoors

2) seasons heat is on

3) I installed a fireplace trying to warm them up, indicated with “cozy fireplace” moodlet

4) tried to put them the designated “cold” outfit but that’s another issue

I can change them into a selected outfit and my mom sim changes their outfit into a completely random newly generated outfit every time she checks on them
