Infinite Loading Screen after the update for May 28, 2024

I've seen another thread about this, but nothing under that thread worked for me so I decided to make my own. I have tried everything (checked and updated all mods/50/50 my mods, cc, and build mode folders/repaired my Sims 4 game and reset the Sims 4 folder/cleared my cache and I always delete the localthumbcache.package file when moving or adding things in my mods folder). Does anyone have any other ideas on ways to help? Or could anyone test my save to see what the problem is? In addition, the household loaded every time I isolated each folder, it only gave the infinite loading screen when everything was in the mods folder all at once.

  • @tinkk26_ If you can load that household with some mods in but not all them, then we know, at least, that your problem is in your Mods folder somewhere. Since you say you've not solved it with the Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists or a 50-50, there are a couple of other options. If you use Better Exceptions or MC Command Center and either of them created an error file for you during your testing, I'd be happy to look at that. I'd also be happy to look at a list of mods produced with this method: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mods-CC-Issues/INFO-How-to-Use-Mods-and-CC/m-p/13439359#M58783 (see "Getting a List of Your Mods").

@luthienrising I checked all the mods that were broken and/or updated. I believe it could be the household I was playing with. When I loaded in a new sim into the lot that was giving me problems, it loaded fine.
