Infinite loading screen/household not loading fix

Its not really a question but i finally solved it.

First of make sure all your mods and cc are updated.

Causes:

Cause 1: One drive.

Cause 2: Corrupted saves or corrupted tray file.

Cause 3: Outdated CC or outdated script mods.

Can either be all 3 or just one of the three causes.

Before doing these steps, make sure you have saved all the households and houses/lots that you made in

the gallery on your account as back up. These will still be available if you create a new save.

And you will find them if you go to your account in the gallery.

Make sure to enable custom content incase you made things with CC.

If your menu is scrambled up like i had and you are unable to put things in the gallery

the cause is either UI cheats extension or more columns or some other CC that conflicts with the menu.

Put that mod out first and try again.

Sadly for me i was unable to save some of my builds to the gallery so i lost them forever so i will need to remake some of them.  In case you get a error code, just try it again, sometimes error codes happen but it will usually work again the next time.

If you have the infinite screen glitch like i had: CAS,manage worlds and build mode will still work. it only occurs when you want to load a household in live mode.

Step 1:

Back up everything by placing the entire sims 4 folder with your saves, tray, mods and all on the background/desktop of your pc.

Step 2:  If you have one drive.  Put all the folders you don't want to lose to another hard drive on your pc in case you have multiple drives like me. Then proceed to deleted that damn program.

After deleting it. The only annoying thing is that despite it being removed, it still creates a one drive folder and no matter how many times you delete that folder. It keeps respawning. Just ignore that and never use the one drive folder ever again.

Step 3:  Uninstall the sims 4.

Step 4: Reinstall the sims 4 so that it resets everything. Make sure that the electronic arts is atleast in de C hard drive which is your main hard drive. You either will find the folder in documents. But if it isn't there it will be in Users>Public>Public documents.     This is were my Electronic Arts folder is located now which wasn't there before because my folder used to be in the one drive folder but i reinstalled the sims 4 itself on one of my other hard drives because i don't have much space on my main drive. That other "sims 4 folder" isn't the same one as the Electronic Arts one and instead its just a folder with multiple folders in it and each folder is a DLC.      The sims 3 has the same thing if you install the sims 3.

I do have a copy of my entire sims 4 folder as back up on one of my other drives just in case i lose my mods.

Step 5:  Open the sims 4 and change the settings to the settings you want and enable mods and script mods.  Don't close the Sims yet.

Step 6: Start a new save in vanilla sims and create a random sim and put it into a random house to check if the infinite loading screen happens in vanilla sims 4. If its succeeds to load the household, the problem will either be your old save that was corrupted or the old tray folder that has corrupted files or outdated mods. But if you are sure that all mods are updated, Its either your old save that is corrupted or the old tray files that is corrupted.

Step  7:  If you really want to know if its your old save that is corrupted put it back in to see if the infinite loading screen still occurs but without your old tray folder in it.

If the infinite loading screen doesn't occur anymore, your old save isn't corrupted. if you want to check if your old tray folder isn't corrupted just move your old save to the desktop and it will create a new save, if the infinite loading screen occurs in the new save, it might be that your old tray folder is corrupted.

Step 8: If you didn't do step 7 and just decided to keep the new save, just open the game with mods and script mods enabled and press play. You either can test the game by playing with that household to see if that household loads up or just go to CAS and load one of your old households there that you downloaded that is still avaiable on your gallery account, you can still edit their clothing and all if you want. Just check their clothing first if you use CC because sometimes they might get different clothing in one of their outfits which happened to me. if you use custom traits, preferences + or the mod that gives you more traits you will need to put those traits and preferences back on each sim in the household you have chosen because those custom traits and custom preferences do not get saved to the gallery for some reason when you share a household with these things.

Step 9: Try to load the household. If it works this time, you have solved the infinite loading screen.

The downside is that the lots will lose all of their furniture so you will have to decorate everything again.   The sims itself will lose their skills and all but atleast the infinite loading screen will be gone.    You still can use MC command center mod to add some things to those sims or use cheats to give them skills.

Bonus:  If your CC hair shows highlights in live mode, just toggle off laptop mode, because i toggled it on and the beautiful hair of my sim showed those ugly highlights in live mode.

I hope this solution helps.
