That must be a limitation of the cheat you are using. I can confirm that using the unlocked spawners I have made (and am currently in the process of getting ready for upload at MTS) CAN be placed on flooring tiles with MOO.
That is good! Im glad you were able to get them to be more functional. With your spawners, are the insects in the same groupings or were you able to separate them into one type of insect per spawner?
