Irremovable Basement Flooring Returns

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.93.129.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs except High School Years and Get Famous, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Vampires, Dine Out, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal, Nifty Knitting, Laundry Day, and Spooky
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Delete both floor and ceiling between 2 basement levels.
What happens when the bug occurs? Dirt appears when deleting the floor and ceiling separating basement levels.
What do you expect to see? When I delete flooring/ceiling from basement levels, an empty space appears where the flooring/ceiling was and the level below can be viewed from the upper level since the flooring/ceiling is gone.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

^ Here's the screenshot to demonstrate.

I found this solved bug that perfectly describes the issue I'm having, but it was solved back in 2019. Looks like maybe it returned? I cannot delete the flooring/ceiling between basement levels without dirt appearing to replace them. I have deleted both the flooring and the ceiling necessary to create a 2 story tall room.

What you have happening is caused by the platform.  When you delete the floor in the room surrounding the platform, the room is no longer recognized by the game as a room.  Just click on a wall and you will see they are no longer connected.  The irremovable floor is the ground which can't be deleted.  This is just the way the game works.

So, if you want a two-story open basement room, then delete the floor before putting in the platform and stairs.  The order in which you do things does matter here.  Tbh, platforms and basements just don't work well together imo, so I'd get rid of the platform and try to get the look you want another way.  If you want an intermediate stair landing, then I'd build a small room in the lower level and let the stairs land on that, then another stair down to the lower lever from there.

    Hope this helps.
