Is there a mod or gameplay option to turn off music made from the music mixer?

I like that idea for sims creating music but I don't like the fact that when I turn on my sims radio, music my sim produce randomly plays while i'm listening to the radio, (i do have custom music from my personal playlist). It's annoying, is there a way to turn this feature off.
