Is there a mod to fix the time speeds?

I hate to see my sims getting off work late and what not due to this issue

Ultra speed mostly works for me, unless my sim is sleeping in an apartment in San Myshuno during a festival. That really ticks me off.

I have never had a time issue - but I only at most slow down Ultra speed sometimes - I never speed it up as long as my sim is awake. I like to some times build my sim up when at work or school so instead of letting it fly through there I slow to medium - have sims socialize or smooze with boss, or study something or other; or if they get tense change them to "go easy" which brings their fun up and once all their bars are filled I change them back to normal or even work hard for the last few minutes of work - this way they always get that promotion and come out of work or school happy.

I see no point in just watching time fly as I am playing a game - and like my sim to come out of work happy and ready to enjoy rest of their evening without annoying moods I need to get them out of. So I make use of all the little options and school ones too, just by slowing those hour down to medium.

The only time see Ultra as beneficial is sleeping as there aren't any options to do anything else while they sleep. So maybe I don't get time weirdness because I don't mess with the time during play - especially speeding it up. When I play the game I like to actually PLAY the game. LOL.

But I do know plenty of simmers who do seem to like to speed through everything - I am not one of those.

As for a mod - have you tried goggle searching for a specific Sims 4 speed mod - maybe one will come up you can check out. Maybe try modthesims, Sims Community, or simsvip - they have lots of modders at those places.

My Sim is supposed to be done work at 9pm but he gets home at 10pm. I didn't know if it was a glitch in the time or because the time listed under the work tab was wrong as it's only 7 hours. Do Sims always work 8 hour shifts?

It's been an issue since 2014, and time management has been working without an issue in the other games since day 1 of the PC franchise.

I think it's an issue that has been at the top of my list as to why I'm not into The Sims 4 among other issues. But time is the biggest because it's such an essential part of the game.

I've tried googling for a speed mod but never came up with anything. I also don't know a whole lot about mods so I don't want to go around installing random mods here and there.

What I've seen so far is the minutes speeding fast but the hour not changing for quite some time, or the ultra speed is no faster than speed 2, or the clock speeds very very fast until morning and then it goes back a couple of hours along with needs going backwards again to catch up.

There is no mod nore any fix for these problem? Im digging internet 2 days now and I cant find a fix that working.

Have you looked at MC Command Center? I think they have a time module. I'm not sure it does what you want though. Look under Documentation; MC Command Center: Game_time_speed
