It deleted my first household

Question

So when I first got the sims I created myself and a random house to play in. When I wanted to play again it said I needed to update my game and it needed to be restarted so I restarted my game, but when I opened it up again I couldn't resume my gameplay with my original sim. I made so much progress and got really attached to my own sim and now she's just gone and deleted out of my library. Please tell me how to get her back if you know how! Thanks.

@garbagepossum&nbsp;Try starting the game and instead of using resume or new game, use the load button.&nbsp; It sounds like instead of opening your earlier save, the game started a new game.&nbsp; So if you have more than one save when you use load, pick the older one to see if that is one you were playing before.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hope this helps.
