It says 'Items removed' but all my mods are in my folder. HELP

So it all started when I noticed I needed to clear more storage in my pc. I deleted a lot, especially on my one drive not realizing it was going to delete everything physical in my pc. It took me a couple of days to get it all back, everything was normal except for Sims 4, I had to start over but luckily I had a back up folder for it; however, it hasn't been updated for a couple of months (the old deleted packages was still there). It was an easy fix. I started from scratch with a new household. I was building normal and playing normal until I've realized I forgot to delete more old files. My sim didn't have the 'sleep' option. I deleted the file but it was still there. So I decided to repair game (mod files were taken out and put in the backup files). I don't even know what I did afterwards because after it repaired and I logged back in to the game, it gave me this notification. There was another one but for create-a-sim. I've checked everywhere, even my one drive, and downloaded it all back from the recycle bin and trash but no luck. It would show some of the mods but my character has lost a lot of cc, along with some furniture. I've repaired it twice ever since that happened and now I don't know what to do. I tried doing the last exception (I don't even know if it's the legit one) and the last two picture is what it said. I don't know what it means.

  • @CerebralKidd96  Please make sure all your mods and cc files are in the folder the game is currently reading.  Here's how to check:

If the items are in the correct folder but aren't loading in-game, please post a screenshot of the contents of the Mods folder.  You don't need to post everything, just one or two frames so I get an idea.

And keep in mind that if you've saved with the content gone, you'll need to reapply all the cc or else load a backup save where the content was never missing.

All the folders are only one folder deep but here's all of it in that path. I even checked the one drive folder and everything is in there. One thing I haven't tried is uninstalling the game. Do you think that will help?

I forgot that I uploaded my sim on gallery and checked tray importer. I see where the mods in CAS was deleted somehow but all I did previously was move my main mod file to a backup file not realizing that the mods in One Drive might not been updated somehow. Which is weird because it usually is and I have the 1TB storage. Is there anyway i can retrieve it? I checked the recycle bin but I'm not even sure if it's in there since it wont let me click on the files that aren't there

  • @CerebralKidd96 I have the same issue coming out of build buy mode into my game the message with there are deleted objects pop up but I don't use cc and mods and the only thing I find is That my money tree from seasons expansion pack is having real money fruits which I can not only sell as it should be but I can also plant tthhem what is so wrong.

Okay so I was manage to find the backup file that had all my mods but I'm back to square one with my main problem. My sim still doesn't have the sleep option no matter where I put the bed or use base game beds, it still wont let me sleep. I even tried repairing (which made it worse). I've deleted the cuddling mod and I've had this problem before and taking that out seemed to fix it but it's back. How do I fix this?

@puzzlezaddict  Okay so I managed to to find the culprit and found the cuddling mod in the file lol. This was such a hassle lol.  Thank you for helping anyway!

  • @Catniamh  Oh that's tough if you don't any mods or cc. The only thing I can think of is repairing your game. Mine was just being clumsy with my folder
