Language barrier

i haven't played sims 4 on pc in about 40 weeks i went on yesterday and decided to start a new game, as I was creating a new character, something came up and I had to log out. When I logged back on e...

@annah1973 When you reinstalled which languages did you have to choose from ?

Are you on EA app or Steam ?

I choose English although their are choices like dutch etc. I am on EA

    Could you please try the following steps (please follow in order)

    1. Open the game
    2. Take a screenshot of the main menu of Sims as it is showing now
    3. Exit the game
    4. Uninstall Sims 4
    5. Uninstall EA app 
    6. Re-download Ea app here: https://www.ea.com/ea-app?setLocale=en-us
    7. Reinstall EA app
    8. Make sure that EA app is set to english
    9. Reinstall a game but before you do, take a screenshot of the language selection you see in Ea app. Make sure you set it to english
    10. Open the game
    11. Check if you still have issues and report back

    If it's still the same, please post the screenshots you took

        @annah1973 That doesn't look like a supported language. More like thai or something

        Seems like that's some mod by Simscolony ?

        I'm going to move this to the mods forum for further help but you will probably either need to remove that mod or tweak something about it.
