Lani St. Taz neighborhood in Sulani in Sims 4 corrupted

Hello. The sulani world, specifically the Lani St. Taz neighborhood crashes the game whenever I try to go into build mode or play a household. This has been occurring since the Growing Together expansion. How do I fix this? Thank You

  • Hello Crinrict. I remembered that the only unique trait in Sulani was that I used TMEX-CoastalPoolsandBasements Mod a while back to test it out on a couple of properties and never deleted the basement made with the Mod on one of my properties in the Lani St. Taz Neighborhood. Since I removed and updated my Mods after the update in March, I did not reload the Mod. As a result, the game was not recognizing the basement and somehow, the basement remained even when all of my Mods were removed. I went back and reloaded the Mod and was able to successfully go into Build Mode and remove the Basement from the Property without the game crashing. I have now learned a lesson; no more basements on coastal lots. The trouble is not worth it. I have almost 10,000 hours into the game and have over 547 customized Sims and around 40 customized builds so starting a new game would have been tragic for me. Thank You for all of your suggestions and support and your efforts to help me out with this! Hopefully, my trials will help other players who may have experienced the same problem.

  • @Rock_Solid667 What platform are you playing on ? Does this happen on any save game you try or just a specific one ? Have you tried repairing your game yet ?
  • Hello *NOVICE. I am using a Windows 10 PC. I have installed the latest updates for Windows 10 and the Nvidia GEForce Graphics card just in case in addition to repairing the game several times. I also "reset" the Sims Folder and reinstalled my Backup Save Files. None of these actions has fixed the problem. I was wondering if there was a file in the Sims 4 Program tree that was specifically associated with Sulani and if I could replace that file. All other Worlds including San Sequoia work perfectly. I am moving the Sims that live in Sulani out to other Worlds until this can be fixed. Thank You

@Rock_Solid667 So it happens even if you start a new save game for testing purposes ?

Do you have any LastCrash.txt files in your documents folder ?

Yes. The screenshot attached shows the top portion of the Lastcrash file. Let me know if you need more of the info in the file as I am not sure if this is enough to help diagnose the problem. Thank you
