@crinrict I actually found this bug listed in the master bug list, but under Last Exceptions instead of the Discover University Expansions. Sorry, I didn't know LE's had their own section.
I'll add my report to the other bug thread.
I also had the ZeroDivisionError: division by zero error and I was not using any cheats. This was caused by a dorm mate somehow being enrolled in a class and getting the same class added to his list twice. He was not downloaded from the gallery. Unfortunately, I was playing with mods at the time, but they weren't mods that affected university code. I decompiled them and checked. I didn't get it to happen the next time I tried with no mods and a new save file, so I'm unable to confirm it. It just seems like dorm mates randomly get messed up with their degree trackers especially if you switch dorms and get new dorm mates who are on a different term number as you. He also graduated with me. Then I played him and saw that he was still enrolled in university with no degree and had 2 copies of the same class on his schedule. When I first loaded him, it was asking me to enroll for a term despite him having classes on his list already. I can play around with it more to see if I can cause it without the mods installed, but I don't believe it happens every time.
@CharityCodes Did you download any SIms from the gallery ? Those can be affected.
This is probably also the same as your error: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/CURRENT-ISSUE-Error-109-b29ba599/td-p/9483629/ at least the exception has the same category number
The problem with the division by zero is (as the MCCC folks explained to me) is an error of the game trying to calculate the GPA of a sim who never attended class or has grades (hence cheated). It can also happen on Gallery Sims if someone cheated those and then uploaded.
So pretty sure it will occur without mods if a Sim has this particular setting through cheats or mods. Best test is probably to create a new Sim (from scratch) and see if he gets the division by zero)
LEs have their own section cause it's usually hard to tell which pack they belong to (especially for folks not used to read them)

I did not download him from the gallery. I hardly ever download sims from the gallery. I only like lots. I had maybe 2 households from the gallery at the time, but he was a random sim and not one of those. I think it may have been caused by me modifying him in CAS using cheats. I forgot about doing that. I wanted to change his traits and aspiration to fit a story I was playing.

I did not use any University cheats and still keep getting this LE. I do have mods but none of them seem to be the issue. My sim dropped out of school and it didn't work? I was for some reason still enrolled in the uni but not the classes so I re-dropped out and now nonstop get the error. The sims are my own sims. It's becoming very aggravating even though it doesn't affect gameplay.

If you're not opposed to mods, did you try the degree tracker fix on nexusmods?

Not saying all of the issues here are completely fixed, but it does seem the ones I was addressing with my mod are incorporated into the main game now. If you have the mod, you can remove it and try playing without it for a while.
