I don't know what is causing this or what affect it has on the game, but I keep getting a lot of last exceptions. Can't promise this will work for you, but I was suffering constant Last Exceptions related to the degree tracker as well for a few sims I had used cheats on to graduate immediately after their semesters had started. I deleted the households who I had cheated with and the last exception went away, but if I re-imported them back from the gallery it came back. I ultimately managed to resolve the issue for my sims with the following:- Shuffle all of the sims who I knew were causing the issue into a single household- Re-enroll the offending sims in university (without using a cheat).- Back out to manage worlds- Go back into the household. I immediately got notifications that my sims had failed the semester and were on probation- Drop out of universitySince doing that, loading other households hasn't triggered the last exception related to degree tracker. I've reloaded the game a few times and the last exception warning pop up no longer appears for me. Hope it works for you as well.

My mod also fixed the issue for CiwayWong, so I will post it here in case others find it useful. I'm not going to check this thread constantly for requests.@Ayanko @Salmonberry-Pie @XrazgarX @nicolehins71594 @Aetere I had to leave the mod there because it kept happening with new sims. These sims were my dorm mates and auto generated townies, not from the catalog. I think this needs to be on the list of known issues. I'm not sure if this bug report is in the right place? Could we get an EA rep to weigh in on this please?

I did review the forum rules before posting. It doesn't mention anything about links to mods. It only says no advertisements of any kind. I guess it could loosely be considered as advertisement? That's the only reason why I questioned it. I did have a nexus link and they took that down too. It's OK. It just would have been avoided if they stated that somewhere in the rules. People can continue to PM me directly if they want the mod link (nexus). It's called Degree Tracker Fix if you want to search yourself.

@Byrnie75 I disabled D.U. and started my game. I got a warning, loaded up my main household. It loaded fine, I obviously lost my degrees and anything from the D.U. pack but it wasn't too bad.I restarted the game with D.U. enabled. No degree tracker LE. I'm now using the debug cheats to re-add my degrees. I'm on the first one, so far it's good, I've traveled and no L.E.'s. Graduation is in 24 hours, i'm going to bounce around and try to re-trigger an LE, then go to graduation and see if my diploma comes from the correct school. But I think this may have stopped it and cleaned out the crap. Obviously i lost my degrees and some other items but didn't lose anything I can't cheat back. Hope this helps.

@CGrant56 thanks for the further information and reassurance it won't break my game! I really didn't want to abandon the degree studies or kill/revive the sim.

I rolled back my save as far as I could and the LE still popped up 4 sim days later, so it must have been created in earlier gameplay but I didn't notice.

I obviously can't do anything about it in this save, but it's something I shall (hopefully!) keep in mind for when I'm playing University with other sims and other households.

What a pesky LE!

@luthienrising Thank you for answering. I tried the degree tracker mod, but it's not working, probably needs updating. I haven't seen any problems with my save, so I'm not gonna delete it or delete my sim, I've been done so much work for this save... MCCC notification pops up every time I travel, but that is the only annoying thing for now. If something else happens, I let you know. For those who are worried about the LE giving problems, I haven't seen any problems with my game so far

@SamanthaSunny Thanks for that info! The creator wasn't sure the mod would work on all causes, so I'm not going to actually report any issues with it. I'd be interested in knowing later if this exception goes away at some point for that Sim, since it's not cheat-caused.

@fashionbug123 Any Sim in your save could be causing the error, usually because university-related cheats were used on that Sim. Unfortunately, that can mean Sims from the Gallery, too, which can make it hard to find the Sim.

If you can identify which Sim it is, you can fix this in a couple of ways:

Option 1: Load that household, enrol the Sim in university using no cheats, go to Manage Worlds, go back to the household, and drop out

Option 2: Make sure there are multiple Sims in the household (you can just add the Sim to your regular one), use MC Command Center to kill the Sim and then revive it.

If you can't identify which Sim it is, you can roll back the save to before the error started to occur.

You can also try charitycodes's Degree Tracker Fix mod, but it's not been tested for a long time.

@fashionbug123 I was able to find out by opening the mc_lastexception in my web browser. I clicked on 'Sim Info (Click to expand/collapse)' and it showed me which sim is causing the LE and their household

If anyone is still getting this error and would like help, I have a mod called Degree Tracker Fix on nexusmods. I cannot update it though because I no longer get this last exception. I know this was 5 years ago but I am having the same issue today. How am i supposed to know who is causing the issue because my sim wasn't cheated into university and I didn't cheat other sims into it either...? Im in desperate need if anyone could help please.
