Life Stages Day Count Broken

Hello! Since the July 2022 update, I have had a problem with all my sims' life stages. All my sims' age bars have been forced up or down, and when I set the game to age "Played Sims" or "Active Household Only," ALL Sims age up, some even several times.

Additionally, when I give adult Sims the Potion of Youth to try to fix this problem, the number of days left in this life stage is set to 88 for both young adults and adults.

Likely related to this aging bug, when I age up a toddler, they receive neither the Happy Toddler nor the Top Notch Toddler trait when skills are at the appropriate levels. Other life stages, such as kids and teens, are receiving their reward traits when they meet the criteria or age up (for the latter).

I have downloaded the August 2nd 2022 update as well, and repaired my game afterwards, but no luck....

    If you use MCCC, that mod hasn't been updated to properly reflect the change in lifespan that game has made.

    So things are a bit messy until that mod gets updated.

    the patch didn't fix mine either and I have never used a mod in my game so I know that is not the reason. it would appear that existing saves are going to continue to have this issue. It was suggested to me that you would need to revert to a backup (don't ask me how, I don't know how)....I can only assume that means a backup from before July 26th when the game was broken with the update. so that means all progress in that save will be lost.

    As this report contains multiple bugs and we may already have active dedicated bug report threads opened for them here "Compiled list of reported issues" this thread has been closed.

    If there isn't an active thread dedicated to each of the bugs you're experiencing in the link above, please go ahead and create a new bug report, one per each individual bug after testing if the issues persist after installing any mods/cc. That way, we can track things easier and provide relevant information regarding the specific bug.
