Loading stuck, cant return to home lot

Hello, I have done hours' worth of troubleshooting (Clearing both origin and sims 4 cache, removing mods, repairing game, uninstalling the game, updating game) And need some more solutions, I thought it was the mods at first, but after removing them the problem persisted.

I wonder if this is a bug, or if this is solvable on my end. I am able to load into the High school years auditorium (last location of sim outside the home) just fine, but I can't load into the home, or go home.

Any help is appreciated.

    Update on the issue: Looks like it's specifically the home lot that won't load, which sucks a ton. The game is pretty much unplayable unless I find a solution. Hoping someone sees this, I removed and reinstalled mods previously too, that didn't help either.

    @AmmeCake Can you enter the lot in build mode ? It's usually either a Sim that's corrupt or the lot itself.

    So first, try to load the lot in build mode from the map, upload the home to the library, bulldoze the lot, then replace it from the library to see if it works.

    If not, try evicting the family and re-place them and see if you then can load that lot

    If that still doesn't work, let me know and we'll go from there.

    Thank you so so much for your suggestion; so far I've added the lot to the library and bulldozed/replaced it. Starting to think a sim is corrupted because I tried loading in after to a character and same issue. Fingers crossed more trial and error works.

    im having the same problem. i can play sims anywhere but at their home when they return home it take me off game. wondering if it’s anything else i can do

    @Massacre-Redrum You're posting in the Mod and CC Issues forum on a very old thread from many patches ago. There's a very recent game bug for off-the-grid lots, which you'll find in the Bug Reports forum.

    Otherwise, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. If you're on console or have never used mods or CC since you started your save, please let me know and I can give you a better idea of where to post.
