Looking for mod to make columns invisible in walls down mode.

I find columns SO frustrating to be constantly camming around. I think because I started playing with Sims 1 I'm used to picking a set camera angle and playing from there.
I like columns almost only for photos and generally, just rip through a gallery or pre-built house to remove the columns.
I'd love for columns to behave like walls, they disappear or show just the bottom when walls are down, but stay in background if walls are up at the back only.

Any ideas? I have looked on forum and google with no luck (most people seem to want the opposite of what I want!)
