After opening up the game and my household, all of my sims personal inventories were missing. I had purchases and paintings left in there and the monetary value of them wasn't added back into my household either.
I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue, since September 2025 (patch 1.118). Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See the broken mod lists linked in Mod & CC Issues: START HERE for other mods you might need to remove or update, and check current status for patch 1.119. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates. On the unlikely chance that you are here as a console player or had an empty Mods folder when this started, please reply with an @ and let me know.
