Lot reverts to how it was in the previous save

I was building and made progress on my lot then I pressed save then save and exit. Afterwards, I repaired the game. I went to play and when in the manage worlds view, the lot looks how it should but when I press play its entirely different and it looks how it was in the previous save. When I go to manage worlds, the picture of the lot has changed. I've recovered the save and it does the same where the lot looks how it should but when I press play the lot is entirely different. I've tried uploading the lot to my library hoping the lot is what it should be but it does not work. I've recovered the save and went on another lot and went back to manage worlds and the lot picture of the one that reverts is how it should be but when I press play, the same thing as before happens. Is there a way to get the lot from when I saved it or do I restart my progress on the lot?
