I just tried to download the newest version of the MCCC mod after just recently learning about how to add mods into gameplay and it doesn't work even after I've restarted the game multiple times. All of my older mods work but not any of the ones I downloaded since High school came out. Although, I don't think I have ever downloaded a mod that's as complex as the MCCC mod. It was added into my laptop files differently than any of the other mods I have downloaded. Do you think it is a sims issue or an issue with how I tried to download it? I am new to this stuff so anything you might find helpful would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much 🙂

Right. So Mc command center is a script mod. In order to use it, you need to enable script mods which you can find in the game. You know where you go to save, go there and go to game options and then to "other" there should be an option there that says allowed scripts mods. Make sure that has been selected (a checkmark) then you'll need to save and restart your game in order for it to take effect. You'll need to do this each time your game updates. Sometimes when the game updates you will need a new version of the mod. To do this, delete all the Mc command center files from your mods folder, download the newest version, and put the files into your mods folder. Don't forget to make sure you've enabled script mods. Also, the mod downloads as a folder. You need to open the folder, just double-click on it, copy all the files in the folder, and paste them into your mods folder. Mods and CC won't work if the files weren't taken from the folder. If you just put the folder in with the files in it, it won't register. You can then delete the folder once the files have been transferred correctly into your mods folder. It's simple, copy and paste. Other than this, I don't know why the mod might not be working for you. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm not great at explaining things, but I can make a video showing each step to downloading and using the Mc command center if you wish.
