MCCC wont work!
(dont know if game information is the right place to put this oops)
Okay, so no matter what i try, MCCC just won't work and doesn't even show up in the list of mods that come up when i launch sims 4. Although, I noticed something really strange. I thought that maybe the selectable pets mod was conflicting (my only other mod that I have downloaded) but when I removed it from the mod folder and launched sims, it still showed up on the list and MCCC continued to not be there. Is this just a problem with my computer or resource.cfg file or something?? The list refuses to change. Oh, and playable pets worked fine while mccc wouldnt. Please help!
EDIT: PLAYABLE PETS IS STILL WORKING EVEN THOUGH I REMOVED IT FROM THE MOD FOLDER!!😭😭 I'm so confused! Also, i forgot to mention, i tried to add a cas backdrop and that wouldnt work, as well as a fullhouse mod.
ANOTHER EDIT: i literally just deleted playable pets and emptied the recycle bin. still working in game. please help!! I dont even want the mod anymore!
Try this if you haven't already:
Move your mods folder to the desktop delete the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder. This helps clear up some game glitches and will help to make sure there isn't any issues with mods. Like mods/cc that are outdated or no longer in game.
How to do this:
- Go to the Electronic Arts folder [C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4]
- Right-click on the Mods folder and select Cut, and Paste it to the desktop.Try playing the game again to see if that helps.
