Mod is the reason I can play sims but also the reason I hate it

Just had a long break (3 years I think) from sims 4. Got back to it again a month ago. Installed some mods from curse forge and I was having a blast.  yesterday a new patch dropped breaking some...

@jimbbq1 With a lot of tears (and plenty of other less-mentionable coping mechanisms), coming from someone who plays heavily modded saves 😅😭

the patch is so frequent though every month ! I wish they would just fix all bugs every 6 months rather than dropping tiny patch every month.  I can just about go through the ordeal of fixing all mods twice a year but not every month.
