Mod issues, Sims 4

Question

Help!&nbsp;
I've been playing my sim 4 on my mac for years and last night the game crashed on me not not after I added some new mods. Not thinking anything of it I added so more CCs and went to load the game up but now the Origin has:

Greyed out the play button.
I've removed all my mods (still it's greyed out)
States waiting on queue when I try to repair or update my game
I've deleted my&nbsp;localthumbcache.package still doesn't work.
Origin app keeps not fully closing leading my to force quit.

Anyone know what's going on or what I've missed please

Maybe also good to note this all happened after I'd downloaded and set up Sims 4 Mod Manager&nbsp;

Ignoring your Origin issues as you've posted about those separately here and they will be separate to the problems you have with Mods. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Mac-Client-Technical/Unable-to-play-sims-4/m-p/13482087#M144916

Moved your thread to the Mods forum for better troubleshooting. Hopefully someone here will be able to help you with your Mod issues or has experience of the Mod Manager. Or maybe you could explain in detail how the Mod Manager works and which folders you have to grant it access to? I shouldn't imagine any apart from the Mods folder?
