Is the Glitch with the Sims 4 age spans being fixed? I have updated, repaired and gone back to previous saves but my young adult sims life spans are still only 17 days when life spans are set to long in my game. I have tried to set it too long in my game as well and nothing has worked, and I am too scared to save my game and mess it up further than it already is.
Are you using MC Command Center? This is a known MCCC issue.
The Deaderpool Support Discord has a pinned message in the general-support channel:
you cannot use long life span right now
try this
The recommendation is to set lifespan to Normal in Game Options and set the MCCC values to match the new EA values if you want to have the new EA default days in stage:
Baby: 2 days
Toddler: 7
Child: 13
Teen: 21
Young Adult: 24
Adult: 33
Elder: 14
You can however change the days in the age span to whatever you wish with mccc
MCCC > MCCC Settings > Set Age Span Duration > Human > Adult

from Deaderpool on aging
EA changed age spans last release as well as how they do the Short, Normal and Long age spans. So MCCC has to be updated to work with that. This is known. It's not something we need any save files or anything for. It's just going to be that way until the next release.
Also, MCCC has default ages for "normal" always set in the settings. Those no longer match EA's defaults at normal so when you take the mod out and put it back in, you will see different ages. Also known. Also possible to work-around by just setting the ages as the same. Also, with MCCC, we have ALWAYS recommended just not even using "Short" or "Long" age spans. We just recommend setting the Normal age spans to however many days you want.
