Ever since 7/23/24 update, game is pretty much unplayable. Can use CAS but when i go to move the sim in I get this error code 109:dd2b8c5:e6596451
@pegmom03 Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

@pegmom03 Yes, I think it's likely that one or more mods caused this error. You can check your mods against this list:
But for everything else not specifically cleared, you'll need to test yourself. The 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient:
