I think I got the solution but the corrupt build may disappear after.
My corrupted lot was in Forgotten Hollow. I also spend a lot of time by building a rental and after I finished it, I got stuck in the loading screen. Then I forced the game to close and came across the white screen everytime I tried to load Forgotten Hollow. This issue was driving me crazy for weeks, I just couldn't find any solution.
Then I tried loading a normal household and traveled over a social event to any lot in the affected world (it only needs to be in the same neighbourhood as the broken lot). After quitting the event, I traveled to the corrupt building by clicking onto it over zooming and scrolling to it. The game allowed me to visit the rental house and I could open the build mode, change the lot type to a normal residential home and after going back to the worldmaps the world did load again.
The property was empty but after that I did not have any issues with loading the worldmap again.
