this just happened to me too and idk what to do... i already backed up my sims 4 game before the newest update. should i put it all back in except for the mods? lol i’m dying ☹️

So I just got off a live chat with one of the people that work for EA and they said the newest update doesn’t work well with mods or CC in the game and you have to delete them. Depression is real 😭!!

@limelemonkill and @LeLelovesfood3 A lot of mods and custom content items are broken after the most recent patch for sure, so you'll need to test your content and download new versions of whatever is broken. It may be easier to check the download pages for your content rather than testing: those pages should either offer a new version if necessary, or confirm the existing one is compatible with patch 1.69.
You may also need to revert to a previous version of your affected save. Even with your mods and cc removed, saves that have already had this issue can be permanently broken. Here's how to recover a backup save:
