The recent automatic update on origin to the sims 4 i tried to go in and play my game and create a new family and the game won’t let me create a male sim! It’ll let me create a female just fine but my male sims won’t even pop up when clicked on. Can somebody else let me kno if they have the same issue. i’ve already tried to repair the game and uninstalling the game causes me to lose everything including my other families!
Ive deleted mods and went through all my CC. My male sims are still invisible. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this game several times im close to giving up but I don't want to cause I have spent my money on all these packs and kits. So if anyone has anymore solutions to my problem that would be greatly appreciated!!

Why did EA break sleeping to begin with? There is no reason I can conceive of why EA edited the code for the sleep option on beds 10 years after release.
- crinrict3 years agoHero+@Dreeaa97 I've tested your save. It works fine for me without anything in the mods folder. Have you now tested with a vanilla folder ? Just simply renaming your folder and start the game (everything will be gone, it's in your backup folder), then start a new save and check CAS.
Then report back if your males are still invisible in CAS. Do not add anything back just yet from your backup folder. Just these simple steps.- 3 years ago@crinrict So just make a back up folder rename it and then restart the game ? i had a couple back ups but i deleted them. i’ll do that again though.
- crinrict3 years agoHero+@Dreeaa97 No, not rename the backup folder. Rename the main folder
So:
1. Rename \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
2. Start the game
3. A new folder will be created in place of the old one. That's what should be.
4. Start a new save game as your old saves will no longer appear in the game.
5. Check in CAS if your males are invisible.
