Mods and CC Known Bugs and Issues: July 18th, 2023 Game Update

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Pick a lot, go into build buy, the UI on the bottom left is broken.
What happens when the bug occurs? The different UI options all show up meshed together and in pieces.
What do you expect to see? A normal UI with selectable options and multiple pages and options.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

The build buy UI is broken. It's merged with other page options and clipped and cropped so not all the choices can be seen. Please see image. This is for any save, any world, with or without mods.

    @LaLadyPanda 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    @PriimmRoses Lots of mods are broken after this update. Please refer to the posts above for more info.

    Ok same and I'm trying everything. Getting rid of scripts. Build cc. Nothing is working. I also have that tmex mod and i just don't know.

     This has also happened to me. its so merged to the point of where I cannot build or anything just basic gameplay.

      @miissteish322 its the betterbuild mod by mexi, they have to update the mod or something because i had to take it out my game for the build mode to work... sucks i need that mod lol
